About Our School
Since 1996, Steppin Out Dance Studio has been proudly providing dance classes to children of all ages in the Monroe, Pella, Grinnell, Prairie City, Otley, Knoxville, Reasnor, Sully, Lynnville, and Newton areas.

As a parent, we realize you have a choice between several different dance schools. Not all studios are the same. We constantly strive to provide our students and parents with the best experience possible. We offer a wide variety of dance styles to choose from, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pointe, lyrical, jazz-pom, clogging, drill team prep, acrobatic dance, and tumbling. You can also join our award winning competition team.

Monthly Newsletter - October 2010

WELCOME BACK: We hope everyone is settled in to their classes and are enjoying them. Please remember that students need to wear proper dance attire with the proper shoes for each class they are in. Dancers must have their hair pulled out of their face and no gum is allowed!
FALL FUNDRAISERS: We have two fundraisers for you one beginning the week of October 11th which is Party Time Fundraising and the other beginning October 18th which is the Butter Braid sales. Fundraising is OPTIONAL and all credit will go to your individual accounts for costumes, recital fees, etc.. Please read all attached information that comes with your packets.
COSTUME DEPOSITS: were due week of October 12th - 16th. A $30 deposit is due for each Costume/Dance your child is taking (Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Etc..) for ages 3 - 10. A $40 deposit is due for each Costume/Dance for ages 11 and up and competition dancers. These are only deposits and balances will be due in December!
PARENT VISITATION WEEK: will be the first lesson in November (1st - 5th).
TUITION FEES: are due by the first of the month. There is a grace period of 10 days. Fees paid after the 10th of the month are subject to a late fee of $5. Please check to see if your account is current. NOTE: If a child's name is different than the parent - please note this on the check.
*If you have not paid the registration fee - it is due NOW! Please check at the desk.
*STEPPIN OUT FUN*: All dancers get to be creative and design their own Halloween mask!!! It can be fun, scary, or just plain crazy - but not store bought - have fun and be creative!!! Our most creative mask wins our Halloween gift basket full of goodies!!! You may turn in your mask with your name on it to your instructor or the front desk. All masks will be displayed at the studios.
