About Our School
Since 1996, Steppin Out Dance Studio has been proudly providing dance classes to children of all ages in the Monroe, Pella, Grinnell, Prairie City, Otley, Knoxville, Reasnor, Sully, Lynnville, and Newton areas.

As a parent, we realize you have a choice between several different dance schools. Not all studios are the same. We constantly strive to provide our students and parents with the best experience possible. We offer a wide variety of dance styles to choose from, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pointe, lyrical, jazz-pom, clogging, drill team prep, acrobatic dance, and tumbling. You can also join our award winning competition team.

IMPORTANT DATES

APRIL 8th & 9th - DANCE PICTURES O'Connor Photography will be taking our dance photos again this year at the Methodist Church in Grinnell. A schedule will be sent out, please notify me of any conflicts ahead of time so we can do our best to work with you. Purchasing pictures is optional but your child needs to be there for the group photo.
MAY 14th - DRESS REHEARSAL This is a mandatory dress rehearsal at the Lynnville/Sully High School. The rehearsal will be at 10:00 AM.
MAY 14th - RECITAL - 1:00 PM - LYNNVILLE/SULLY HIGH SCHOOL
STEPPIN OUT COMPETITION TEAM We will be competing March 19 & 20th at the Iowa Events Center, March 26 & 27th at the Iowa Central College in Ft. Dodge & again at the Iowa Events Center on April 1st, 2nd & 3rd, . We would love for you to come out and support the team.
DANCE SHOES Now is the time that dancers are needing new shoes. Please check to see if your child has outgrown their shoes as they need the proper shoes for class. I can pick them up for you, you can order them online or stop by the dance shops in Des Moines.
